3. Email and messaging rules
SwishHost services may not be used for spam, unsolicited marketing, purchased mailing lists, abusive outbound messaging or similar practices. Bulk email or large-scale mailing activity is only permitted where expressly authorised in writing by SwishHost and must remain compliant with applicable law, anti-spam rules and industry best practice.
4. Security and misuse
You must not use SwishHost services to probe, scan, attack, disrupt or interfere with any system, service, account, network or data without proper authorisation. This includes denial-of-service activity, credential attacks, exploitation attempts, malicious traffic generation and any form of unauthorised testing.
5. Resource abuse
You may not use shared, managed or platform services in a manner that unreasonably consumes resources, degrades service quality for other users, creates instability, or places excessive operational burden on our infrastructure or support teams. We may limit, suspend or require changes to workloads that create unreasonable impact.
6. Cryptocurrency mining and intensive workloads
Cryptocurrency mining and similar blockchain-related processing are not permitted unless expressly approved by SwishHost in writing. Other unusually intensive or high-risk workloads may also be restricted depending on the service, infrastructure impact, provider limitations or operational risk.
7. Adult and high-risk content
Adult content and other high-risk content categories are restricted. Where such content is permitted at all, it must comply with all applicable laws, our internal risk standards, payment network rules, upstream provider requirements and any service-specific conditions. SwishHost may refuse, suspend or remove services associated with restricted or high-risk content at its discretion.
8. Resale and third-party use
You may not resell, repackage or commercially redistribute SwishHost services without prior written approval. If you are authorised to resell or manage services for third parties, you remain responsible for activity carried out through your account unless otherwise agreed in writing.
9. Monitoring, investigation and enforcement
SwishHost may investigate suspected breaches of this policy and take any action we reasonably consider necessary to protect our services, customers, suppliers or the public. This may include warnings, traffic filtering, content removal, account restrictions, suspension, service termination, preservation of evidence, cooperation with third-party providers, and referral to law enforcement or regulatory authorities where appropriate.
10. Immediate suspension for serious abuse
We may suspend, restrict, disable or terminate services immediately and without prior notice where we reasonably believe there is serious abuse, unlawful conduct, a security incident, a material policy breach, or a risk to our infrastructure, other customers or third parties.
11. Customer responsibility
Customers are responsible for activity originating from their account, services, users, applications and hosted content. You are expected to maintain appropriate security, control access properly, respond promptly to abuse concerns and take corrective action where required.
